VSSI has been awarded a 5 year contract by Occidental Oman to carry out their 6 monthly Friction Test in the Mukhaizna Airport Runways.
Friction testing establishes the current Grip Number value as per Oman Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) and ICAO requirements for safe friction values on Paved runways.
VSSI Friction Tests are carried out using the state of the art Continous Friction Measuring quipment manufactured by Findlay Irvine of the UK.
VSSI is the approved agent for Findlay Irvine in Oman.
